Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The selected candidate will be part of a team developing robust mobile applications for an international portfolio of high-profile brands in various industries including retail, healthcare, and hospitality. Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior developers and architects to create world-class mobile e-commerce experiences Develop enterprise Flutter mobile applications Transform app and web projects from mock-ups to completion Maintain active communication with Designers, Quality Assurance Engineers, and Account/Project Managers regarding project status Utilize bug tracking/project management software suites Develop reusable components and frontend libraries for future use Stay updated with our proprietary platform technology for mobile websites and apps, incorporating the latest mobile innovations Contribute to the evolution of our technology Implement secure coding best practices Participate in ongoing security training and awareness Utilize your strong background in Flutter and Dart programming language Apply your understanding of object-oriented and functional programming paradigms Transform design mockups and wireframes into functional components Solve problems creatively and effectively Utilize your knowledge in Restful Architecture. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 1 year of experience in the field of Software Engineering Proficiency in Flutter, Dart, and Restful Architecture is required Demonstrable knowledge of software development methodologies Proven experience in writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code Familiarity with software testing techniques including both manual and automated testing Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for complex algorithms Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with team members and stakeholders effectively Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is preferred Ability to work in a team-centric environment and contribute to team goals and projects Proven commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and advancements.
