Position Description: CGI is looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with Service Now implementation expertise. This role is a senior role and an ideal candidate for this role should have experience working independently with no oversight. You should be an experienced Service Now developer with a couple of years of Service Now Implementation experience. You will likely lead a small-mid size team of other Service Now developers to support Service Now implementation at one of CGI's customers. Your future duties and responsibilities: - Design, improve, implement, and maintain effective and scalable solutions using ServiceNow, and integrating with third party and in-house products.- Provide technical and functional leadership with Service Now Implementation. Bring in lead level expertise, in an Agile team and work with business and technical partners to migrate a Field Services solution to Service Now.- Lead upgrades, maintenance, configuration of, and integration with ServiceNow.- Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, standard processes, and procedures in the completion of sophisticated software engineering activities- Work with CGI engagement leaders and other technical specialists to build Client proposals- Lead a small or mid-size team of software engineers as a technical leader- Work with Clients to understand their technical challenges and develop innovative technical solutions to address those challenges.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: - BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field- 6+ years of software development experience and professional Service Now implementation experience and Field Service Management- Experience in working with Web technologies, including JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, and CSS- Technical knowledge in development of ServiceNow entities like business rules, script includes, clients' scripts, UI Actions, UI Macro, workflows, catalogs, etc. JavaScript knowledge.- Experience with Access Control Lists, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Data Policies,Workflow/Flow- Experience with Case/Major Case/Field Service Management- Experience with development of the NOW Mobile and NOW Agent Mobile apps- ServiceNow certifications highly preferred- Adept at Agile development practices- Prior experience in a technical lead role- Strong interpersonal skills and an eye for business- High proficiency in software engineering practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and build processes- Individual contributor able to handle customers and their expectations independentlyCGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level, experience and training, and licensure and certifications. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
