Overview

The Bank of New York Mellon seeks a SPECIALIST FULL-STACK DEVELOPER in Pittsburgh, PA, to consult with internal business groups to provide appropriate application software development services or technical support. Responsible for requirements gathering and BRD/SRD preparation. Requirements: Bachelor-s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Performing application software development and participating in the Software Development Life Cycle; Designing, coding programs, testing, and implementing application programs with best practices and coding standards; Utilizing corporate finance knowledge and experience to develop user analytics reporting to provide insight about overall profit & loss and client product analytics; Designing, prototyping and developing applications with HTML, JavaScript & CSS; Utilizing .NET & Excel VBA skills to maintain, understand and convert existing finance service applications and utilities using Java and Angular JS technologies; Adopting Excel VBA to automate and maintain existing client reports and migrate them to web based reports using custom charting libraries and grids; Utilizing MS SQL and Oracle databases to write complex, efficient and optimized performance queries for data aggregation and manipulation for analytics; Designing and building RESTful API services to expose data with proper security guidelines and standards; Utilizing user-side frontend, as well as the backend, server-side and database that powers the user-side; Handling end-to-end application development from coding, implementation, issues, support business queries and requirements.
