Position: SQL DBA Location: Philadelphia, PA (onsite) Duration: 12 months Rate: Open Interview: Video Resources needed: 2 The client is looking for resources to provide general Database Administration support services. Position overview / Statement of Work This project entails the evaluation of all real estate sales data sets their condition and configuration. Upon completion of this evaluation, the resource will develop a systems/architectural plan to improve the use and retrieval of these sets to enhance civil/real estate operations. The final step is the testing of the systems/applications designed from this evaluation. Work activities:

• Extracting and/or loading data
• Migrating databases to new applications or platforms
• Managing, monitoring, and maintaining company databases
• Maintaining database backup and recovery infrastructure

• Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools
• Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
• PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills
• Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Knowledge of database design and theories
• Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL or SQL/PSM
• Experience with server installation and maintenance
• Familiarity with database management best practices
• Excellent attention to detail
• Problem-solving and critical thinking
• Ability to explain complex ideas in simple terms

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• One to three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
• MCSE/MCSA certifications preferred
• Experience with Linux and Windows Server environments
• Extensive experience with database technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL Oracle, MongoDB)
