- Successfully design, test, deploy, and operate information technology systems for the organization.
- Become a technical subject matter expert on assigned information technical systems.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and controls.
- Work with a variety of technology vendors, peers, and business users in the implementation, operations, and troubleshooting of systems.
- Engage system users, vendors, and stakeholders to understand and document their needs, requirements, issues, and risks to create understanding for both technical and non-technical groups.
- Ensure security, scalability, usability, and reliability of systems.
- Perform in-depth testing, trend, performance analysis, and functional assessments, including end-user reviews, for information technology systems.
- Follow, and seek to improve, established systems engineering, configuration management and change management processes.
- Successfully resolve assigned Tier 2 and 3 system issues and outages in accordance with our SLAs.
- Assist others in resolving any system functionality issues, anomalies or outages.
- Write and maintain custom scripts and processes to increase automation, system efficiency and lower downtime.
- Use our systems to create value in the form of better processes, data, communication, and general usability for employees and clients.
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and apply that knowledge to help the organization innovate.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related discipline; or additional equivalent years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in technology systems engineering.
- Minimum of six years of experience working directly with SQL deployments
- Prior experience with SQL queries and automation
- Ability to work on assigned tasks with moderate oversight.
- Self-motivated, adaptable individual with a positive attitude and communication style.
- Intermediate technical skills in two or more domains (e.g., Networking, Security, Cloud, Development, Systems Administration)
- Cloud experience, preferably in Microsoft Azure desired
- Proven ability to successfully and efficiently monitor and maintain systems
- Ability to work collaboratively to design and support complex information technology systems
- Ability to think critically, learn new technologies and apply knowledge to solve problems and support projects.
- Ability to use data to help yourself and others make better decisions.
- Technical writing and structured communication experience.
- High level of integrity and personal responsibility.
- Able to perform tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to make one-on-one and group presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships.
- Must have strong analytical ability and presentation skills.
