This includes driving cultural awareness initiatives and implementing trainings and practices that move the Division towards a more inclusive and engaged environment. The Engagement COE aligns engagement strategies with Northeast Division’s mission, purpose and values. The ideal candidate will work closely with our division and region HR teams and in collaboration, create, execute and assess engagement strategies and plans to cultivate a highly engaged workforce. The role will report to the VP, Organizational Development and DE&I for the Northeast Division.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

In consultation with HQ, Division, Region, and function leaders, develop and implement Division-wide engagement strategies and programs, with a focus on ensuring an inclusive and positive employee experience.

Manage a team of engagement professionals to lead the execution and adoption of engagement practices, in collaboration with headquarter and region Engagement Leads.

Be a strategic and consultative resource to division and region HR teams and business leaders, providing coaching, advice and counsel regarding engagement initiatives, goals, and objectives.

Collaborates with diverse cross-functional teams and leverage external best practices to identify and implement regular enhancements to engagement programs as part of continuous improvement efforts to drive organizational health excellence.

Provide leadership and oversight for NED reward and recognition strategies and determine enhancements to the existing framework that support employee engagement and retention. Drive Great Place to Work initiatives.

Leads the creation and deployment of audience specific communication and education on engagement programs to promote positive outcomes.  Determines methods to provide informational opportunities for supervisors and employees about engagement initiatives, leadership behaviors, and inclusion efforts.

Partner with change management team on large change initiatives. Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and discuss mitigation plans for potential engagement risks in connection with larger NED change initiatives, leverage data and analytics reporting and influence leaders and HR partners on recommendations.

Build plans to support the NED culture and employee experience, inclusive of our unionized employees.

Routinely uses data and analytics to produce data driven talent and engagement insights that inform strategic decision making; leverages an analytical framework to measure success of engagement initiatives, in partnership with talent management, DE&I and change management COEs.

Lead engagement team as they build strategies to elicit feedback through employee surveys, focus groups, and employee engagement programs to support a data-driven approach to continuous quality improvement. Partners with leadership and employees to develop and implement action plans.

Ensures positive and respectful work environment through positive reinforcement, modeling desired behavior, providing adequate work tools, and administering policies fairly and consistently.

Develop/Design Organizational Health strategy & HR Tools that support and are in alignment with NED business goals and talent strategy.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience

Record of accomplishment with program implementation, strategic planning, and managing across multiple important priorities.

Ability to analyze data including metrics for employee engagement, talent acquisition and turnover to drive decision making

Demonstrated experience with identify risks/challenges, providing solutions, resolving risks/challenges, and overcoming hurdles to drive results.

Experience successfully leading and developing people.

Track record of effectively consulting and partnering with the business including but not limited to leading people strategies, working with highly sensitive data.

12+ years of related experience, preferably in HR Business Partner and/or HR COE type roles.
