Position Overview: The Senior Estimator will play a crucial role in our pre-construction process, providing accurate cost estimates and budget forecasts for a variety of construction projects. Prepare Cost Estimates: Develop detailed cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and site conditions.

Analyze Project Requirements: Review project scope, identify potential risks, and propose value engineering solutions to optimize costs.

Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and adherence to project requirements.

Budget Forecasting: Forecast project budgets and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure alignment on project goals and budget constraints.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends, construction methodologies, and material costs to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully bidding and estimating projects of varying sizes and complexity.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Sage Estimating) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain cost estimates to internal teams and external stakeholders.

Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
