This role is based in the United States, within our Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) Commercial Operations team.As a Sr. Manager, Process Excellence at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will have the outstanding opportunity to be a change agent driving world-class business improvement initiatives. This role is crucial for driving operational efficiency, improving customer satisfaction, and achieving strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in process improvement methodologies, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of commercial operations.A day in the Life:
Implement key business improvement initiatives within Commercial Operations.
Collaborate with commercial partners to develop efficient processes and address complex improvement opportunities.
Act as a change agent, driving progress across the Global Commercial area.
Define opportunities, analyze data, design transactional workflows, and improve business processes and tools supporting commercial execution
Provide mentorship and facilitation of problem-solving methodologies to continuous improvement teams and team leaders
Provide key commercial projects with Project Management and Process Excellence support to ensure they deliver outcomes aligned with commercial strategy and sales processes
Keys to Success:
Proven ability to analyze data, design workflows, and enhance business processes.
Demonstrated understanding of selling methodologies and commercial enablement tools such as SFDC
Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
Strong customer-centric outlook to deliver world-class experiences.
You understand how to get things done. You possess outstanding interpersonal skills, strong project management capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach that consistently leads to successful outcomes.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years in process improvementor related field.
Cross-functional team leadership and project management experience.
Familiarity with Lean Management System and Six Sigma principles.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Experience with Salesforce.com and life sciences/diagnostics.
Remarkable analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
