Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results, and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities

Lead activities for new devices, products, programs, projects to ensure they are seamlessly deployed and implemented into the existing operations.

Partner with planning leadership team on sales and operations planning (S&OP) process and ensure execution of production plans to required levels.

Support outsourced vendor and supplier management responsible for ensuring consistent high quality and standardized operations, contracted service level agreements are being followed, priorities are set and are being held accountable for deliverables.

Leverage operational key performance indicators and metrics to partner with quality team to drive improvements resulting in increased customer experience and reduction in costs. Support focus on improvement in inventory, production management, transportation and cost.

Execute sustainability plan for supply chain operations.

Develop requirements for system enhancements to existing planning applications and/or system integrations as new tools are introduced.

Effectively communicate all project timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with the stand-up and deployment of the operation.

Resolve all field and corporate escalations related to operations quickly and communicate appropriate follow-up to necessary stakeholders.

Demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of operations management, logistics and transportation, vendor management, inventory management.

Coach front-line managers on how to effectively cascade change down throughout the organization.

Contribute to the hiring, training and onboarding of new operations team members.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
