Position: Sr. Program Manager Location: 100% remote Duration: 6-12 months Rate: Open Interview: Video The Sr. Program Mgr. for IDP will drive execution of key deliverables for the Integrated Dynamic Planning (IDP) Projects from the IS Project Management Office (PMO). This project is comprised of 3 phases: 1. Phase 1 is to provide automated reporting. This phase is complete. 2. Phase 2 is working to provide additional functionality and enhancements to the existing Supply Planning solution. 3. Phase 3 is to implement an end-to-end Supply Planning and Demand Planning solution. This role will be responsible for managing Phase 3 as well as provide Program Management oversight of the Project Manager for Phase 2. Working with Sr. Leadership and Subject Matter Experts, this role will be responsible for designing project plans to ensure completion of key responsibilities by the respective deadlines. This role will ensure clarity of timelines for key milestones, monitor the progress of the project, raise areas of concern for review, and ensure effective facilitation of key meetings. Responsibilities:

  • Manage IDP Stage 3 by converting project scope to detailed project plan
  • Create short- and long-term plans for delivering the project, including key milestones and deadlines. Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to capture, prioritize, track, and monitor key milestones.
  • Develop/track budget, work with implementation partner, communicate effectively to team and leadership, identify and resolve issues/conflicts, and deliver progress reports.
As Program Manager:
  • Provide on-going support to the IDP Program Management Office.
  • Lead and facilitate PMO / IDP meetings to ensure team actions remain in synergy and work progresses against the established timelines.
  • Strategically communicate with Executives and Subject Matter Experts to ensure consistent understanding of priorities and progress.
  • Lead integration planning and reviews into Client's processes, systems, and organization with IT Lead and IDP Program Management.
  • Help prepare for any Stage Gate governance representation needed.
  • Manage and oversee all project managers assigned to the workstreams for IDP delivery (will be approx. 1-2 PM's)
  • Ensure project managers deliver executable project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, RACI and stakeholder registers, cutover plans
  • Ensure project managers are effectively managing their team and managing project execution including scheduling, resources, and budget through Clarity
  • Ensure resources, project plans and any budget updates/changes are completed via project managers and are appropriate and approved through oversight and management.
  • Help facilitate and resolve any blockers or risks/issues raised by the project managers
  • Elevate any risks/issues to IT Lead where needed
  • Regularly meet with project managers
  • Engage separately with key business leads and Client solution owner to ensure healthy project execution (some stakeholder management)
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:
  • Requires project management expertise including organizing, scheduling, prioritizing, tracking, and monitoring multiple workstreams and the broader strategic project
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to rally the team around a vision for the project
  • Expertise in managing program budget
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to develop multiple solutions to an issue and make valid recommendations for resolution
  • Superior communication skills verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance metrics and outcomes
  • Ability to successfully deliver results under pressure
  • Ability to understand and support the execution of processes and workstreams across a variety of functional areas
  • Expertise with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work flexible hours
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Education
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
  • PMP Certification required
Experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Program Management required
  • Preference for food, food-related or consumer package goods experience
  • Preference for experience in Supply Chain Planning
