Sr. Software Developer

Moon Township, PennsylvaniaJob Duties:

Designing and developing web-based tools and applications to support Mortgage Connect's business and objectives using C#, XML, ASP.Net, SQL Server, Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT, Android (Studio & SDK), Java, and XCode;

Working closely with Quality Assurance, Technical Architecture, and other members of development to ensure the success of new products, applications, and new versions of existing products;

Working with new technology through all phases of the software development life cycle to produce and enhance scalable and robust software applications;

Translating application requirements into robust, well designed technical solutions;

Using Rapid Application Development techniques and Object Oriented Design (OOD) and development to produce solutions;

Performing event-driven programming within multi-tiered Client/Server architectures;

Carrying out database design, development, and programming;

Performing Unit Testing, Functional Testing, ETL Testing, Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on software applications;

Debugging software and fixing defects uncovered during the testing process;

Working with application analysts or coordinators, test engineers, and technical writers to ensure the successful rollout of new applications or features;

Providing mentorship to junior members of the Software Engineering team; and

Working with Software Architects on implementation strategies.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering field and 5 years of progressive experience in the job offered or a related role working in an Agile environment and using C#, XML, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT, JavaScript, AngularJS, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, LINQ, WCF, SQL Server, Azure, Object Oriented Design (OOD), and .NET Core; and

5 years of experience performing Unit Testing and ETL Testing.
