Sr. Staff Accountant

Description We are offering an exciting employment opportunity for a Sr. Staff Accountant in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania! Our Loaned Staff team here at Robert Half is a unique career path which combines the variety of contract and consulting work with the stability of a permanent full-time position. In this role, you will be brought on board to Robert Half directly with full benefits, PTO, and paid holidays. You will then be assigned out to clients of ours who have long-term interim needs for support. While you are in between assignments, you will continue to receive compensation, providing stability and continuity of pay!Sample Responsibilities: Implement policies and procedures to identify, document, and resolve accounting issues Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows Carry out the monthly closing process by preparing necessary journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts Monitor delinquent accounts receivable and take appropriate action Conduct periodic audits, evaluate findings, and issue reports as required Prepare forecast reports for income, expenses, and earnings, and perform budget vs. actual analysis for the company on a monthly basis Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements Provide support for internal and external auditors as requiredRequirements Proven expertise in Account Reconciliation Solid experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations In-depth knowledge of General Ledger management Capability to handle Journal Entries accurately Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Experience with Month End Close proceduresRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
