Description We are offering a role in our manufacturing industry based in EASTON, Pennsylvania, United States. The role involves general transactional work as a Staff Accountant to assist in managing our accounts. This opportunity offers a temporary employment opportunity with the potential to engage in a variety of accounting tasks.Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable and accounts receivable. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded. Assist in the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Provide support for any issues related to customer credit applications and accounts, including resolution of inquiries and collection of delinquent payments. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications. Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate action where necessary. Handle general transactional work as part of the accounting team. Provide support in maintaining financial stability and operational efficiency within the company. Utilize your skills and experience in the manufacturing industry to ensure financial operations run smoothly.For immediate consideration please apply directly to job posting or call 610-882-1600 Requirements Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Sound understanding of General Ledger management Capability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries accurately Proven experience in performing Month End Close activities Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong ethical standards, integrity, and adherence to accounting principles and standards.
