Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in the non-profit industry. Based in Coatesville, PA, you will be responsible for a range of accounting tasks, from managing accounts payable and receivable to handling bank reconciliations and general ledger duties.Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable effectively. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Maintain and manage the general ledger, ensuring it is accurate and up to date. Prepare and record journal entries as part of the accounting cycle. Handle the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is correctly captured. Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to streamline tasks. Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action where necessary. Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate customer credit records. Resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.Requirements Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger management Ability to process Journal Entries accurately Experience in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of QuickBooks and SAP is an advantage Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in a non-profit organization will be an advantage.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
