As a Staff Physician 2, you will provide medical care and treatment of all physically ill patients at the facility. You will have the opportunity to perform admission physicals and neurological exams, obtain medical/surgical history on all new admissions to the hospital, and review all medical records from previous hospitalizations and community hospitals. Responsibilities will include formulating medical diagnosis, treatment goals, and plans for individual patients.Additional details regarding the duties of this position may be found in theposition description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Participates in on-call schedule for nights, weekends, and holidays.

May change based on operational needs.

Overtime: As needed.

Shift work: No.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.Special Requirement:

All positions require possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board, or the State Osteopathic Medicine Board.Other Requirements:

PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
