Stand Up Forklift Operator

Job Title: Reach Truck OperatorJob DescriptionOur company is in search of a Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will operate a reach truck to load and unload trucks on the docks and perform daily warehouse duties. These duties include packaging, stacking, palletizing, and using an RF scanner to scan products in and out of the warehouse. The operator will be responsible for counting and tracking inventory through invoicing and ensuring all forms are filled out correctly. The role also requires filling out inspection sheets for trucks leaving the docks and ensuring the correct amounts. You may be required to lift 60-70lbs and assist in all types of warehouse work including stacking, packaging, scanning, cleaning, etc. This role requires working in a fast-paced environment, with around 80 trucks coming in and out every day.Hard Skills

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in ALTOONA, Iowa.Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a cold storage facility where temperatures range from 38 degrees to negative 10 degrees. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions. The facility is a new and clean environment, designed with a focus on food safety. The shifts available are 1st shift (7am - 3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:30pm - midnight). Please note that you must be open to working overtime and on Saturdays. You will need to provide your own cold weather gear early on and steel-toed boots.
