Established in 1923 by Luthier William Zeswitz, Sr., Zeswitz Music has been an integral part of Berks County. Today, we continue to offer professional support, sales, and repairs to community schools, teachers, and private individuals. Our Repair Facility is a full-service shop catering to string, woodwind, and brass instruments.

Job Description:

Diagnose and repair rental fleet orchestral string instruments.

After mastering rental fleet repairs, advancement opportunities include School District and Privately Owned instrument repairs.

Maintain personal and company woodworking tools and equipment for safe and effective usage.

Possess basic computer skills.

Assist in managing shop and company inventory.

Support other shop or operational duties when necessary.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Strong willingness to learn.

Ability to adapt to varying daily work requirements.

Preferably, a background in instrumental music.

Comfortable using power tools.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in basic computer operations, particularly Salesforce POS/Warehouse Program. Familiarity with Microsoft email and office suite is beneficial but not mandatory.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.

Capable of multitasking and performing under pressure.

Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Availability for extended hours (overtime) during crucial calendar cycles.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
