Install, level, and set up according to requirements, maintain in good operating condition and remove various types of heavy machine tools, machines, and equipment.Knowledge of elementary mechanics, power transmission problems and machine tools.Performance of variety of miscellaneous repair and installation jobs, each requiring different methods and procedures, calls for the exercise of considerable initiative. Work on own toward objectives receiving only general direction and guidance.Be able to stand for long periods of time. Able to lift up 50 lbs. Moderately heavy work in making repairs and moving equipment.Work from sketches, drawings, layouts, or general instructions. Use levels, squares, calipers, and other measuring equipment. Knowledge of elementary mechanics, power transmission problems and machine tools. Equivalent to high school plus 2-3 years trade
