We are currently seeking a System Admin to provide support for Digital Video Surveillance System (DVSS). Selected candidate will be responsible for engineering integration testing and ISEA services including configuration management, distant and on-site support, investigation and recommendations of potential system improvements and support for evaluation and testing of equipment as required to keep DVSS in-service ships operational. All travel includes ship visits to upgrade and maintain the digital video equipment on DDG's. #LI-MJ1 TE MV

What you will do

• Provide engineering support in lab environment when not shipboard. • Configure, test and support Digital Video Surveillance System (DVSS). • Configure and Integrate DVSS Software on Navy Ships with different consoles . • Assign and configure IP addresses and network settings for consoles. • Analyze and Implement networks and associated systems/infrastructure to support Navy Shipboard . • Implement, update and apply test procedures based on guidelines. • Willing to train on specific program requirements.

What you must have

Must have 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
Must have computer/network experience.
Must have a current of active DoD Confidential Security Clearance.
Must be able to obtain a Cyber Security Certification within the first 6 months of employment.

Preferred: Bonus points for

• Experience working on board Navy ships a plus. • Cyber Security Certifications a plus. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science/Technology or Cybersecurity.

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
