Systems Architect

Our client is a leader in the CATV industry looking for an experienced Systems Architect to join their growing team in the Greater Philadelphia region on a long term contractual basis. Job Duties:

Responsible for providing sr. level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprises overall systems architecture.

Facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions including architecting and implementing solutions requiring integration of multiple platforms operating systems and applications across the enterprise.

Reviews advises and designs standard software and hardware builds system options risks costs versus benefits and impact on the enterprise business process and goals.

Develops and documents the framework for integration and implementation for changes to technical standards.

Assists in the development of and manages an architecture governance process.

Provides technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate.

Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies to better serve the enterprises architecture needs.

Skills:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field.

Typically has at least 5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/systems environments performing systems planning architecture design engineering hardware and software and optimization

Web Proxy management – HAProxy, IIS, Apache, NGinix CDN administration – Akamai, CloudFlare, AWS Cloudfront, Website security – DDoS protection, Bot Management, IP allow/disallow, WAF Web/Network traffic concepts – Load Balancing, GSLB concepts, global traffic management, high availability website delivery, traffic failover

Hands-on administration and management is of importance, as opposed to someone who has only heard of the terminology.

Additional Information:

Hybrid schedule with M/F working remotely and T-TR in office

Salary/Pay based upon previous experience
