Tax Manager

Description We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Working in the manufacturing industry, this role offers a contract employment opportunity. As a Tax Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to handle tax provisions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with property tax regulations.Responsibilities: Handle the preparation and filing of year-end tax provisions Maintain and update state apportionment percentages and tax rates Assist in the preparation of calculations, including cash transactions and balance identification Support in property tax compliance and provision tasks Oversee the processing and input of data into company M-1 workpapers Handle the receipt of workpapers from sites and their insertion into M-1 files Update and complete fixed asset sections in company M-1 workpapers Manage the creation of 'Fixed Asset Ledger Balances' files Coordinate the population of state bonus depreciation workbook for the current year Oversee intercompany balance sheet movements.Requirements Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Experience with ADP - Financial Services Familiarity with CaseWare Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax Ability to handle Accounting Functions efficiently Experience in preparing Annual Income Tax Provision Proficiency in Auditing Strong understanding of Compliance requirements Experience in Entity Formation Prior experience in a Corporate Tax Department in the mining industry Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
