Test Technician

Description:Actalent is currently searching for Test Technicians in the Lancaster area for multiple different shifts and experience levels. The Test Technician will perform automated and bench testing by following acceptance test procedures to verify product performance, compliance, and safety. When a product does not meet specifications, the test technician will perform basic troubleshooting to determine the cause of failure and create non-compliance reports. Position Responsibilities: Test various products using standard test equipment. Record and save test data. Perform basic level troubleshooting. Document test failures for rework under direct supervision. Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibration of equipment and systems. Identify and resolve equipment malfunction with engineering. Monitor test equipment to ensure equipment is working correctly. Maintain accurate system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment. Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. Perform other duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives. Skills & Abilities: Ability to use problem-solving techniques while troubleshooting electronic units and equipment. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with attention to detail. Capable of multi-tasking and handling constant changes in priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows. Qualifications: A.S./B.S. in electronics- highly preferred or equivalent military training. Ability to read and work from technical documents, schematics, drawings, and datasheets. Knowledgeable in electronics and computer equipment, testing, and processing. Prior experience working with oscilloscope, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc Be able to obtain a security clearance.
