The High-Velocity Air Fuel (HVAF) Thermal Spray Operator independently operates thermal spray equipment, applying HVAF coatings to various components. Proficiency in coating systems, including HVOF and Plasma processes, is essential. The operator follows written technical plans and instructions to ensure accurate and effective coating application.Responsibilities:Prepare, Mask, Apply Metal Spray Coatings, and Post treatment:Properly prepare the substrate surface before applying the thermal spray coating. This may involve cleaning, grit blasting, or other surface treatments to ensure good adhesion, and masking areas not to be coated.Apply coating efficiently and effectively in required thickness.Setting up equipment, tooling, and materials incl. program Fanuc control.Post treatment may require polishing and grinding the components.Material Handling:Handle and transport components to and from the coating area. This includes loading and unloading parts into the spray booth or chamber.Maintain inventory supplies.Equipment Maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain thermal spray equipment. This includes cleaning nozzles, adjusting settings, and replacing worn parts.Quality Control:Inspect coated parts for defects, thickness, and uniformity. Follow quality control procedures and document results.Safety Compliance:Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating practices.Record Keeping:Maintain accurate records of coating parameters, material usage, and production data.Follow Metal Spray Equipment Operation Guidelines:Adhere to established guidelines for operating metal spray equipment, including safety protocols and proper setup.Continuous Improvemen Constantly striving to make the process more tThe High-Velocity Air Fuel (HVAF) Thermal Spray Operator independently operates thermal spray equipment, applying HVAF coatings to various components.
