Trailer Mechanic - 1st Shift

Job Title: Trailer AssemblerShift & PayShift: 1st shift: Monday-FridayHours: 6am-2:30pmPay: $19-$21.50/hourJob DescriptionYou will be responsible for the final assembly of custom-designed, custom-made heavy haul trailers. This role involves using hand and power tools while working from blueprints to ensure the safe operation of our trailers. The duties include the proper installation, assembly, and other mechanical tasks as necessary. You may also be cross-trained for paint prep/blasting and possibly welding/fabrication in the future.Responsibilities

Perform final assembly of heavy haul trailers

Use hand and power tools to complete tasks

Work from blueprints to ensure accuracy

Install hydraulic fittings, control wiring, and other components

Carry out general trailer functions and pneumatic tasks

Follow company standards for hose routing and trailer electric systems

Align trailers and install steering components and wheels

Operate cranes as needed

Essential Skills

Ability to read and use tape measures and blueprints

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical wiring, and pneumatics

Experience in mechanical assembly and trailer repair

Basic mechanical skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with torch and plasma cutter operations

Experience with electrical wiring and hydraulics

Pneumatics experience
