Underwriting Associate- HYBRID

TEKsystems is hiring several Underwriting Associates to work for an insurance client located in the Wilkes-Barre, PA area. These positions will offer a HYBRID schedule for both training and normal shift.These positions are direct hire, permanent openings with our client and will be starting in the next two weeks! Job Description:· Utilize company underwriting criteria to evaluate risks for various lines of business · Will independently search for information using internal tools and the internet · Perform independent verification of insured's operations · Review and process change requests on in-force policies Additional Skills & Qualifications:· Previous experience in any area of the following areas of insurance highly desired: professional liability, small business, workers comp, general liability, business owners (BOP), commercial auto or umbrella · 2+ years of customer support experience · Strong math and reading skills · Strong investigative skills · Adaptability in a constantly changing environment, including changes to technology, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory conditions Hours/ShiftMonday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00PM Monday and Friday in office, Work from Home Tuesday-Thursday Pay$39,520.00- 44,824.00 to start (based off experience) If interested, please apply with your most up to date resume and a recruiter will contact you as soon as possible!
