The team delivers the 5-year Long Range Plan, annual Budget, as well as monthly forecasts; in addition, plays a critical role in strategic planning and supports special projects and executive decision making. This role will be focused on the Long Range Plan, and will report to the SVP, HQ FP&A. The ideal candidate has strong strategic, financial, and business acumen with extensive experience leading and working with cross-functional teams.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:

Lead the Long Range Plan (LRP) for Connectivity & Platforms, with focus on driving alignment on key issues such as unit and financial trajectory, drivers of growth, and investment prioritization

Oversee deliverables for Residential subscribers, revenue, and programming; not only as part of LRP, but also for annual Budget, and monthly forecast processes.

Partner with stakeholders across all parts of the organization (HQ and Division, Finance and non-Finance) to deliver targets, track performance, and align on key issues, opportunities, and risk.

Deliver special projects and provide Executive decision-making support on strategic, growth, and operational effectiveness topics; assess business cases and develop scenario analyses.

Create and deliver presentations for C&P and Corporate leadership, including LRP and Budget presentations, Board of Director meetings, Executive speaking engagements.

Support Corporate FP&A and Investor Relations on earnings, investor inquiries, and ad hoc analyses.

Develops ways to continually improve processes to ensure timely and accurate budget/LRP analysis and financial review.

Leads and develop a small team of high-performing financial professionals.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience & Qualifications:

A strong critical thinker with excellent business judgment, able to break down and solve complex problem. Flexible, ability to adapt to changing needs of business.

Strategic orientation, focused on the ‘big picture’ and comfortable with ambiguity in long range planning.

At the same time, detail oriented, not afraid to dive deep into numbers and nuances, especially as we manage our current performance and short-term targets.

Excellent communication skills both in writing and in person. Able to take complicated concepts and explain them simply. Good at tailoring messages to different audiences.

Strong analytical skills; data-driven and experienced with financial models.

Demonstrated record in driving alignment and collaboration across large number of teams.

Expertise in financial management is a strong bonus but not necessary. If you are a proven problem solver and storyteller with fluency with numbers, and a desire to learn the intricacies of the finances, we would love to talk.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field; MBA preferred
