Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure that all warehouse functions are executed in a consistent manner in compliance with warehouse policy and procedures

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

Observes safety behaviors of all personnel and works with the Supervisor to correct undesirable behaviors.

Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines.

Assists the Supervisor in managing quality-control systems, which includes training personnel, monitoring compliance with procedures and troubleshooting problems, to include providing key input for formal appraisals.

Assists the Supervisor with managing the Sales Order Schedule, by prioritizing shippers to be pulled in a timely manner.

Creates Bill of Ladings.

Schedules and monitors in-bound and out-bound trafficking.

Conducts monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories.

Conducts monthly Safety/Team member meetings.

Monitors and controls overage, shortage and damage Issues.

Monitors and controls finish goods, raw materials, and fill cartons inventory to include outside warehouses.

Completes all necessary paperwork properly.

Coordinates training of all personnel, with particular emphasis on the Inventory Specialist.

As requested, assists with other administrative tasks, such as attendance record keeping, managing compliance to employee guidelines, etc.

Monitors housekeeping in all areas of the plant and direct efforts to maintain excellent housekeeping.

Operates the radio frequency equipment to conduct inventory movements, barcode scanning, and physical inventories.

Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so.

Education and experience requirements:

Standard knowledge of product codes, general warehouse procedures, and the radio frequency system.

Standard knowledge of technical processes, materials, and procedures.

Advanced interpersonal skills.

Standard verbal, written communication, and computer skills.

Ability to lead others.

Ability to work in a team oriented environment.

Ability to operate all warehouse material handling equipment.

High School diploma or equivalent required.

One year of experience with First Quality.

Experience as a Forklift Operator or Inventory Specialist.

College courses preferred.

Prior computer experience preferred.

Work Environment:

Work in an environment with the potential for exposure to dust during certain tasks.

PhysicalRequirements:Raw Materials: Building 5 and 6

Constant sitting during 12hour shift.

Occasional standing / walking throughout shift.

Occasional climbing and bending over during shift.

Occasional lifting or carrying of boxes up to 50 lbs.

Constant light grasping and occasional strong grasping during shift.

Operation of forklifts during shift.

Daily sweeping and organizing floor and work area.

Required participation in a daily pre-shift warm-up routine.
