Astound Broadband Powered by RCN is currently searching for a Warehouse Technician in our Pittston, PA location. This is an "advanced" warehouse position. The Warehouse Technician will do the Customer Premise Equipment preparation work and/or monitor the inventory levels, stocking, and run ICOMS reports.

The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Test, screen, clean, activate, and/or initialize set top converters, modems, EMTAs, TiVOs and any similar equipment

  • Remove bad equipment from inventory and prepare for return to manufacturer or repair facility

  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and physical inventories

  • Run ICOMS reports

  • Assist with deliveries and pick-ups

  • Other duties as assigned

Our Astounding candidate will possess:

  • Basic computer skills including internet and email

  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Required Education and/or Certificates/Credentials:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum one (1) year of Warehouse Technician or related experience required
