What you'll do :

Validate wire for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Manage wire inventory with routine checks and location inquiries.

Cut power trunk and smaller gauge wire using specially designed wire spooling machines.

Using forklift equipment, you will be loading and unloading large schools on and off their designated spindle locations.

Inspect wire shipments for damages, loss, or defects.

Read data lines on the wire to validate footage accurately.

Operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift in loading and unloading material and equipment.

Stock shelves in the warehouse

Pull spools/materials and distribute them to their designated area.

Prepare wire orders for shipment in accordance with the pick ticket and customer requirements.

Package and ship in accordance with packaging guidelines and accepted methods/practices

Provide accurate reporting on receipt of materials and distribution of purchased items.

Travel to other markets may be required for delivery/pick up of materials.

Who we are looking for:

At least 18 years old

Authorized to work in the United States for this company

Currently have a valid driver's license (CDL preferred)

Experience within the Warehousing/Inventory industry (preferred)

Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner; forklift experience preferred

Knowledge and experience reading data lines on the wire to validate footage accurately

Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies

Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance

Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
