Web Designer (No C2C/Sponsorship)

Our Client, a leader in the financial investment management industry, has an immediate need for Web Designer. The position is located in Pittsburgh, PA and is currently working a hybrid work schedule. This is a full time permanent position. Ideal candidates must have 4+ years of web development and design experience. ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for driving the production of compelling digital graphic design that engages clients who visit the Client's websites, receive the Clients emails, interact with our social media content, or encounter our brand through other digital media outlets.

• Develop and recommend visual design solutions that support the company’s digital marketing strategies.
• Use creative thinking to produce and recommend new ideas, concepts and designs to leverage across device types to expand the scope of what is possible within the Clients digital experience.
• Improve the public brand position of the Client by providing their clients with a positive digital experience that generates clicks and engagement for the company’s digital properties.
• Collaborate with digital marketing professionals to gather design requirements.
• Interpret and evaluate data (survey results, fund hypothetical charts, etc.) to create meaningful graphics, including infographics and animated graphics and GIFs. Adhere to and enforce brand standards across all work.
• Must understand W3C Web standards and best practices.
• Must be comfortable collaborating with a team and communicating through the online tools and resources such as MS Teams.
• Maintain up to date knowledge on the latest technologies, design and typography standards and best practices.

• 4+ years web and digital design experience that includes graphic design and front-end web design required; 2+ years in an agency environment preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) or equivalent software required
• Web content development skills using CSS, HTML5, Java and XML required
• Experience with WCAG 2.1 required
• Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel required
• Ceros, wireframing and prototyping experience preferred
• Agile Scrum experience preferred
• Video editing and production experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree in web design, art, graphic design or other related field or associates degree with relevant experience.
