Your responsibilities in this position include assessing the expenses and duration needed for repairs and manufacturing. This data will aid you and your supervisor in determining whether to handle the tasks internally or outsource them. Moreover, you will be required to effectively prioritize tasks to ensure optimal utilization and productivity of our equipment.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or

Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or

Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or

A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Special Requirement:This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.

Additional Requirements (not required):

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three or more years of experience with welding tools (plasma cutters, metal inertial gas welders, tungsten inert gas welders, arc welders).

Six or more months of experience estimating the cost of quantity and cost of materials, supplies, and equipment along with man hours on fabricating projects.
