Wi-fi Test Engineer

Description We are looking for a dedicated Wi-fi Test Engineer to join our team based in MIDDLE CITY WEST, Pennsylvania. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity in the wireless industry. As a Wi-fi Test Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a lab environment, using Linux and UNIX, and dealing with various aspects of wireless technology. Responsibilities Operate in a Lab Environment, ensuring accurate and efficient testing procedures. Use Linux and UNIX operating systems to complete tasks and troubleshoot issues. Work with Wireless Broadband technologies, enhancing and optimizing performance. Maintain and troubleshoot Wireless Infrastructure, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. Understand and apply Wireless LAN protocols to support network connectivity. Implement and manage Wireless Protocols, contributing to network security and efficiency. Collaborate with team members to improve and advance wireless capabilities. Requirements Proficiency in working within a Lab Environment Familiarity with Linux and UNIX operating systems Comprehensive understanding of Wireless Broadband Experience in Wireless Infrastructure Knowledge of Wireless LAN Familiarity with various Wireless Protocols Ability to troubleshoot and test Wi-Fi systems Strong problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a lab environment Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
