Feedback:" I’ve looked at the 4 resumes so far and none appear to be the right fit. These resumes are system administrators mostly, but none seem to have much experience with “business applications”. They are more system administrators, meaning the looks after servers and networking.

Most of what I have seen so far are resumes for people who have been more “system administrators” who have great experience with managing servers and networks. However, most have not managed a business application which is used by business users to perform business functions. For example, trading systems, back office systems used by operations, or customer reporting applications. These are just examples but some experience in the financial world (preferred) support applications that business users use to do their jobs. Therefore, the role would entail not only helping to maintain the application and help manage the servers they run on, but also an understanding of the actual “business” functionality, working on integrating with our business applications, helping to test he application functionality, doing source code control and promoting code to production (Software Development Life Cycle)"
