DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for autonomously interpreting and utilizing welding techniques and principles to create and alter welding projects based on provided sketches and blueprints. You will also need to accurately assess the time and materials needed for each assignment, ensuring that the necessary resources are allocated appropriately.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Winter storm shift scheduled as needed.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or

Completion of a three-year, high school Vo-Tech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment, materials, and related shop equipment to repair, maintain, or fabricate parts, equipment, or structures; or

Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or

A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Special Requirement:This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
