THE POSITION

As a Workforce Development Analyst 2, you will procure, analyze, and manage grants and initiatives that fund our department's mission. You will monitor grant projects for fiscal and programmatic compliance and perform contract management and technical support for grants and projects from start to finish. This includes communicating with grantees to discuss awards, invoices, and related details, as well as analyzing complex fiscal information, performing research, and maintaining knowledge of applicable laws and policies. This position also consults with legal and financial specialists to ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements and participates in various trainings, seminars, and conferences. You will have the opportunity to participate in the evaluation of operational efficiency for strategies and policies in addition to developing and implementing these for the program. Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. One day a month in office and for predetermined in-person bureau/unit meetings or trainings and other reasons as operationally necessary. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Workforce Development Analyst 1; or

Two years of experience in performing technical work in a workforce development program, and a bachelor's degree; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
