Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in West Warwick, Rhode Island. The individual will be a part of the accounting industry, handling a range of tasks related to customer accounts, data entry, and accounts payable and receivable. Their role will involve using software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications as a vital part of your role. Keep customer credit records up to date and precise. Handle collections via email and occasionally over the phone. Track short payments from customers and verify their validity. Generate Aging reports regularly. Send proof of delivery to customers when required. Assist in the monthly closure of accounts. Produce Accounts Receivable (AR) related reports on customer deductions, credit availability, etc. Cross-train with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to ensure smooth functioning. Post cash into our system after appropriate training. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) Demonstrated ability in Billing procedures Strong Data Entry skills Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Familiarity with Oracle software Experience with QuickBooks software Knowledge of SAP software Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
