DescriptionKforce has a client in Smithfield, RI that is seeking an Agile Scrum Master. Responsibilities:Working collaboratively with Workplace Investing product partners and chapter leaders to enable delivery of the squad's mission through well-executed sprintsThe Agile Scrum Master will be accelerating overall squad performance, efficiency and value delivered by engaging within and across squads to find opportunities to improve agile maturity and metrics, and providing coaching, training and resourcesMaintaining and updating squad performance metrics (e.g., burn-down charts) and artifacts to ensure accurate and clear feedback to the squad members and transparency to other partnersManaging, coordinating logistics for and participating in agile events (e.g., backlog prioritization, sprint planning, daily meetings, retrospectives and as appropriate, scrum of scrum masters)Supporting adoption, and consistent use of enabling tools (e.g., Jira, Mural, MS Teams)Organizing and presenting ideas and information logically and concisely to a variety of audiences, including both technical and non-technical individualsWorking closely with the squad leader to plan and execute on the highest priority work as per the product roadmapHandling multiple, competing priorities simultaneouslyThe Agile Scrum Master will be coaching and mentoring complex squads, regardless of size.Participating in a community of practice and providing scrum knowledge to members of your product area and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within the product areaRequirementsBachelor's degree/undergraduate degree/equivalent requiredCertified Scrum Master (CSM) requiredExperience working with or in agile teams with good understanding of agile practicesExperience working with agile teams delivering technical solutionsAdvanced Jira experience and knowledge of agile practices (Kanban, Lean)Effectively coach and mentorExcellent communication and people-interaction skills and can rapidly build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organizationDemonstrate a continuous improvement approachProven change agent capable of coaching agile practices to teams and individuals from across different functions, experiences, and geographies as they work through new and unfamiliar situationsEffective facilitator and can brainstorm with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks to accelerating value deliveryIntellectually curious and passionate about learning new skills, and model a culture of continuous learning, mentoring and coachingHow to Apply:All steps of the process must be carefully followed so that A) the hiring manager can review your application and B) YUPRO Placement can advocate for you and provide support.Step 1: Complete the application on the New Grad job board by submitting your resume and completing the details requested below.Step 2: Check your inbox for an email with the subject line “Your YUPRO Placement Application: Next Steps,” navigate to the link provided and submit your application according to the email directions.
