Bulldozer/Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Bulldozer / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team for environmental restoration projects across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience operating bulldozers, holds a valid MA/RI 2A hoisting license, and is committed to maintaining high environmental and safety standards on sensitive work sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, excavators) for land grading, soil movement, site clearing, and environmental remediation.

- Follow project-specific environmental and erosion control guidelines.

- Work from site plans, grades, and blueprints to achieve precise site contours and drainage.

- Maintain and inspect equipment daily to ensure proper working condition.

- Comply with all OSHA and company safety protocols.

- Communicate effectively with site supervisors, environmental engineers, and crew members.

- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation of work performed.

- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions on environmentally sensitive and remote sites.

Requirements:

- Valid MA/RI 2A Hoisting License (Required)

- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating bulldozers on construction or environmental restoration projects.

- Ability to read and interpret site plans and grading documents.

- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification (Preferred; candidates without it must be willing to obtain)

- Knowledge of environmental restoration practices, including wetland work, invasive species removal, or soil remediation (preferred).

- Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.

- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and onboarding process (including drug testing if required).

- Reliable transportation to project sites.
