Specifically, you will help implement cloud-based data strategy that includes database design, ETL/ELT Pipelines, Data Lakes, automation, and orchestration. Will work closely with business partners and technology teams to understand business objectives and help define the appropriate architecture direction for them!The Expertise and Skills You BringProven technology and personal leadership experience in architecting, designing, and building highly scalable analytical and reporting applicationsExpertise in data management standard methodologies such as data integration, data security, data warehousing, data analytics, metadata management and data qualityAbility to evaluate, prototype and recommend emerging data technologies and platforms Experience designing and developing data warehouse and data lake ETL/ELT pipelines using data integration frameworksExperience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline technologies is desirableUnderstanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban) 10+ years of IT experience with a proven ability as data architect with prior experience as tech/solution designer in data and/or business intelligence and analyticsRelevant certifications in public cloud services (e.g., AWS, Snowflake) is highly desirable; Demonstrated experience implementing data lake or data warehouses using SnowflakeLeadership skills to architect and craft end-to-end data solutions Ability to collaborate and partner with business domain leads, data scientists, product owners, enterprise architects and other functional leadsExpertise in relational database (Oracle and Snowflake);Demonstrated experience in ETL/ELT design and development using industry technologies such as Informatica, Python, Spark, and/or SpringBatchExperience with business intelligence technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau and/or Business ObjectsRelevant understanding of DevOps technologies such as Jenkins, uDeploy, Concourse, and DatadogExperience with AWS Batch, S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda and CloudFormation is desirableThe TeamThe Architecture team provides deep technical expertise to the broader Engineering community, delivering solution architecture guidance as well as cross-organization technical architecture guidance (enterprise architecture).
