With a strong worldwide presence and a workforce of 35,000 individuals across 25 countries, we prioritize attracting top talent.Job Summary:This is a great opportunity to join the Environmental Health & Safety team to gain a global perspective in a broad range of EHS programs including tracking, analyzing, and reporting safety, workers compensation, disability, and environmental data. The selected candidate will manage EHS audit and compliance programs, develop and enhance internal and external EHS communications and training and serve as a technical resource on EHS matters.Responsibilities:
Function as EHS point-of-contact for Textron Corporate locations, including crisis management support.
Administer and participate in Corporate EHS compliance audits.
Manage internal and external EHS compliance issues tracking.
Provide EHS regulatory and technical support to business units.
Provide mentorship and direction to the business units over EHS management system principles and objectives, i.e., familiarity with ISO 45001.
Collaborate in the development and delivery of EHS compliance training.
Drive improvements to the internal RCRA waste coordinator practices.
Track and analyze EHS performance data toward Achieve 2025 goals.
Support the maintenance and improvement of all EHS IT systems, internal EHS websites, and other platforms.
Support other EHS department leaders in the areas of wellness, loss prevention, disability management, and sustainability.
QualificationsQualifications:
Broad working knowledge of EHS regulations and related technical matters.
Good analytical/computer skills (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint), database skills a plus.
Excellent communications skills.
Ability to travel up to 30% of time.
Willingness to consider a move to a business unit position as part of a 3-5 year career path objective.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, environmental science, or related equivalent.
Minimum of two years of practical EHS experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
