- Drawing insights and packaging reporting in slide decks with robust data notes
- Serve as subject matter expert for workstream content, including being aware of and communicating changing national guidelines
- Serve as lead thought partner on all reporting related to the workstream. Work collaboratively with leadership and workstream stakeholders and take the lead on planning and developing reporting that tells the story of the Covid-19 workstream.
- Independently code, in SAS, all reporting needed for the workstream.
- Draw insights from both the output independently created as well as how that output might connect to the output of colleagues on other workstreams.
- Be prepared to speak up upon notice of an interesting trend or an unexpected result. Have plausible explanations ready when bringing this up to leadership.
- Package reporting highlights and insights in slide decks and be prepared to present them in virtual meetings or provide robust data notes for leadership to present.
- Contribute toward process improvements with respect to data management and analysis
- Assist with data cleaning and data management of data relevant to the workstream.
- Responsible for managing and synthesizing the work of 1-2 analysts managing their own surveillance workstreams or working on related surveillance efforts.
- 3+ Years SAS experience (beyond coursework). Specifically knowing how to:
- Have a solid understanding of basic epidemiologic reporting practices such as rates vs. counts, adjusted rates, odds ratios, relative risk, and cumulative vs. static reporting methods.
