Job descriptionIn preparation for our new Content Area, edTPA Career and Technology Education (CTE) this Fall 2023 scoring administration; we are seeking Industry Experts to evaluate portfolios for edTPA.Experience Requirements:
Industry Experts must have 5 years of successful relevant experience in a Career and Technology (CTE) SubCluster area.
Currently employed or retired in a Career and Technology Education (CTE) SubCluster area within the last 5 years
We are seeking experienced Industry Experts in the following Clusters

Detailed Clusters and Sub Clusters may be reviewed by clicking here .edTPA is a pre-service assessment process designed by educators to answer the essential question: "Is a new teacher ready for the job?” edTPA includes a review of a teacher candidate's authentic teaching materials as the culmination of a teaching and learning process that documents and demonstrates each candidate's ability to effectively teach his/her subject matter to all students. For more information about edTPA, visit edtpa.com and aacte.org.edTPA Career and Technology Education (CTE) scoring is done remotely on a temporary/part-time basis. Training will take approximately 5-8 hours and is completed at your own pace within the project time frame. Training and scoring are scheduled to begin in October 2023. Scoring will be conducted via webinars and independent activity. You will work with a partner to score edTPA candidate portfolios. Scoring portfolios will average 2 – 3 hours of independent work and 1 – 1.5 hours working with your partner.
