As an IT Consultant, you could work anywhere, but we offer a unique work environment. We are currently searching for a candidate to fill a role as an IT Consultant. This role is customer-facing and you will be working as a member of a team operating in support of clients in diverse markets such as manufacturing, education, medical, and financial services.

We work in smaller, collaborative groups; we wholeheartedly support your efforts to pursue technical certifications (both by giving you time and financial compensation); we work on interesting technical projects; we primarily serve small and medium-sized businesses in the greater Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts, and eastern Connecticut regions; we meet regularly to share knowledge and discuss topics of technical as well as organizational interest.

The successful candidate will be skilled in one or more of the following:

Modern Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop environments.

Apple MacOS and iOS solutions, Android and ChromeOS.

Cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google Workspace (Apps).

Networking technologies such as TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, routing and switching, and DNS.

Additionally, the following skills would be of benefit:

Software development tools and languages such as Perl, PHP, Python, or Java.

Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.

Databases such as Filemaker, MS SQL, or MySQL (and others).

Web server platforms such as Apache.

Other operating systems such as Linux.

Not all listed skills are required but this represents a cross section of some of the skills that would be beneficial.

We are looking for motivated self-starters who will operate in an extremely ethical manner for our clients and within our organization. Our relationships are founded on trust, and you will be expected to maintain the highest levels of ethics and honesty.

Travel to client sites, typically local driving distance, is a key part of our operations and you will spend a mix of time both at client sites as well as our office. Our office is modern and comfortable with many amenities for you to enjoy.

We have a flat organizational structure, and all team members are encouraged to share their input on technical as well as organizational subjects. You have a voice, and we encourage you to use it.
