About Us: Earth Juice & eatery is a new spot in Providence, RI known for our fresh, high-quality cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and “ lite bites”. Here at Earth Juice, we believe health should be fun, simple & down to earth.

Job Title: Juice Bar Employee / Juicer

Job Type: Full-time and part-time

Location: Providence, RI

Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about our menu items, and provide recommendations based on their preferences and dietary needs. Process orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system.

Juice & Smoothie Preparation: Prepare a variety of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls, and other menu items following established recipes and quality standards. This includes washing, chopping, and blending fresh fruits and vegetables.

Ingredient Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our ingredients, their nutritional benefits, and common allergens to inform customers effectively.

Food Safety & Hygiene: Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of ingredients, cleaning equipment, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

Stocking & Inventory: Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and readily available.

Cleaning & Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, blenders, juicers, and customer seating areas.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.

Opening/Closing Procedures: Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up/breaking down stations, cleaning, and preparing for the next shift.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a food service, hospitality, or customer service role preferred, but not required.

A genuine interest in health, wellness, and nutritious food.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Food handler's permit/certificate a plus (or willingness to obtain one).
