Description:Job summary 3rd shift (11PM-7AM) 2nd Shift (3PM-11PM)

Perform established procedures with a Gas Frame to heat set and dry various fabrics while following prescribed safety rules and complying with OSHA regulations.Summary of essential job functions

Assist Quetch Operator and relieve a necessary

Adjust cutters to get desired width as written on process/workflow sheet (only when slitting)

Identify batches and load on to machine; thread through clips or pins at front end

Unload batches of fabric from Gas Frame using a hydraulic truck or tugger; place using electric hoist

Continuous checks for quality of cloth and adjust to correct faults

Maintain proper adjustments for temperature, width, tension, straight filling and speed

Run frame for work not requiring use of Quetch

Keep necessary records

Maintain scheduled production volume

Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, inferior quality and other unusual conditions

Perform maintenance duties as needed

Keep work area and machine in a clean and orderly condition

Ability to move and lift up to 50 poundsMinimum requirements

HS graduate or equivalent

Previous manufacturing experience a plusAbilities required

Read and write English
