Job Title: GIS/Mapping Coordinator

Contract: 08 months

Work Location: Providence, Rhode Island(Hybrid)

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hour on W2

Job Description:

Provide supports to Mapping or GIS supervisor overseeing Mapping personnel in collecting and inputting mapping data into the RI GIS system.

Job Duties:

Assist supervisor in training, monitoring, and developing personnel
Review, approve, and post projects in the mapping system
Responsible for updating and maintaining the backlog database
Generate and update various reports for tracking performance
Assist supervisor and ensure department goals are met
Position Requirements (Required Skills):
Associate degree in engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
Experience in Automated Mapping GIS is a plus
2 years of mapping, engineering, or GIS experience
Knowledge of mapping systems
Strong computer skills
Local candidate - Hybrid role

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hour on W2 The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
