We are a manufacturer of Natural Foods. We need team members who can lift heavy things 50-60 pounds throughout the day. You’ll be on your feet working in both a team environment and will also be unsupervised at certain times throughout the day. You must understand the basics of food safety and be willing to learn. You must be able to communicate with the team, work together, and ask questions. If you are lazy you will be let go from the team. We operate on a very simple premise: do you have a positive attitude? Do you have the right work ethic? Are you willing to be open and honest and do the right thing? Because people’s food depends on it.
Below are some of the common things needed to excel:
You are willing to prove that you can work hard and contribute.
You are flexible and can learn multiple responsibilities.
You communicate well and ASK good questions.
You’re ready for a challenge.
What you will do day to day:
Placing mixed granola on sheet pans and spreading it out by hand.
Measuring and weighing raw material to be batched in the mixer.
Operating an oven where heavy racks roll in and out.
Mixing finished product that will be ready to be packaged.
Putting finished bags into boxes to be taped up.
Understand and demonstrate food safety practices.
Sweeping and cleaning all equipment (requires a cleaner’s mentality).
Washing sheet pans in a commercial dishwasher.
Taking out trash daily.
Sweeping warehouse.
Cleaning bathrooms when needed.
Cleaning up the break room when needed.
What we offer:
Competitive entry level starting hourly wage $16/17 depending on experience or relevant knowledge.
Paid time off that accumulates weekly.
401k after 6 months.
Full-time, Part-time
An environment that prides itself on finding great people to have on the bus, getting the wrong people off the bus, and high standards. We are looking for continuous improvement.
Extra opportunities exist for those who can deeply understand the concepts of food safety and teamwork.
Reply to this listing with your name and a little bit about yourself. Something that tells us a little bit about you. After that we’ll back with questions, if necessary, to further explore the opportunity.
Thank you!
