To do so, we rely on a dynamic, culturally diverse group of employees, working in more than 100 countries, in a variety of challenging roles.Responsibilities:Duties: Participate as a core member of one or more agile project teams in the analysis, design, and execution of effective Quality Assurance procedures and defect prevention/detection processes for corporate and client area information systems, across multiple computing environments. Design and develop test automation, including frameworks and test software. Ensure that the business systems delivered will consistently address the organization's business needs or problems as defined in the requirements, while considering test automation efficiencies to allow for testing coverage and maximum team throughput.Qualifications:Requirements: Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study, and 3 years of experience in any job title/occupation/position involving software quality assurance environment.Experience specified must include 3 years of experience with each of the following: creating and executing software tests in an object oriented programming environment including .Net and C#; analyzing business requirements and activity to develop appropriate tests in an Agile environment; working in database management systems (such as SQL) and application development environments (such as Visual Studio); performing functional, integration, and regression testing, and evaluating and documenting the results utilizing test case management tools and problem tracking/reporting systems; and designing and developing automated software tests through programming utilizing at least 2 automated testing tools/technologies, such as Selenium, Gherkin, Cucumber, C#, REST API, and NUnit. Telecommuting is permitted. Can reside anywhere in the United States. Must be able to work Eastern Time Zone (EST) business hours and attend ad hoc meetings at the Corporate Office in Johnston, Rhode Island at a minimum of 1 time per quarter.Employer: Factory Mutual Insurance Company, 270 Central Ave., Johnston, RI 02919Work Location: Telecommuting is permitted.
