Small Engine Mechanic

Experience small engine mechanic needed at Rhode Island Harvesting Company Inc. A family owned and operated outdoor power

equipment and tractor dealership located in Ashawayl,RI for 75 years we have been dedicated to providing friendly, courteous

Job Description:

.Repair and maintain outdoor power equipment(Lawn Mowers, Tractors, Trimmer, Chainsaws, Blowers, etc), Landscape power equipment and small construction equipment. Both two cycle and four cycle, gasoline and diesel engines.

.Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions through inspections and performing diagnostic testing.

.Perform routine maintenance of equipment.

.Set up new equipment.

.Keep accurate records of job performed and write up work orders.

.Full-time plus overtime.

Hours:

.Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

.Saturday 8am-12pm

Qualifications:

.High school diploma or equivalent

.Must have own tool.

.Willing to train. looking for someone with some experience. But we are willing to train right person.

.Must be responsible, self-motivated and reliable.

.Ability to work independently and as part as a team.

.Must be able to accurately and efficiently trouble shoot all types of two cycle and four cycle engines and their related equipment.

.Must be able to efficiently use a computer for equipment diagnostics, parts lookup program and computer base inventory system.
