This role involves leading a team of field technicians and technology professionals to ensure the efficient and effective operation of technology in the field, enhancing service delivery and operational efficiency. LI-HybridNOTE: Please note this position is hybrid to one of our local offices in: Allentown, PA; Louisville, KY or Providence, RIResponsibilities

Oversee the installation and deployment of field technology systems, ensuring they meet operational requirements and industry standards.

Manage and mentor a team of field technicians and technology professionals, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Ensure the regular maintenance and troubleshooting of field technology systems to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.

Lead field technology projects from planning to execution, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Utilize data from field technology systems to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.

Ensure all field technology operations comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Work closely with other departments, vendors, and external partners to ensure the successful implementation and operation of field technology systems.

Manage the budget for field technology operations, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to meet strategic objectives.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in field technology and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

QualificationsEducation

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred but not required

Experience

10+ years of experience in field technology or a related field, with demonstrated experience in a senior leadership role

Strong leadership and project management skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

A deep understanding of field technology systems and maintenance

Experience managing large, diverse teams and leading complex projects

Proven ability to develop and execute technology strategies

Understanding of Agile principles and methods

Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Ability to align IT transformation initiatives with the overall business strategy

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) would be a plus

Utilities industry experience

Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) technologies, remote monitoring systems, and advanced data analytics, Cloud, AI and Engineering best practices.
